Reverse Osmosis System

Reverse osmosis is a technology that takes advantage of the ability of certain semi-permeable membranes to separate dissolved substances from water.
The pressure of the water supply forces the water through the membrane; the pure water (filtered) is so separated from the water containing dissolved salts (concentrate).
The highest-performing osmotic membranes (those made of polyamide and polysulphone) act as a barrier not only against salts and other inorganic substances, but also against organic substances with molecular weight higher than 100; therefore they are constitute an excellent defence against micro pollutants, pesticides, pyrogenic materials, viruses and bacteria that may be contained in water.

• The membranes have been tested at 25 °, 4.8 bar, 2000 ppm as TDS.
• Because of the different operating conditions, compared to the ideal conditions in which they were verified, the real production is about half of the theoretical one.

MEMBRANE HQ+
The membranes named with the acronym HQ + (High Quality Plus) represent the last generation of osmotic membranes that synthesize all the technological innovations of recent years.
1. They have a high salt retention rate, in fact they manage to retain up to 99% of dissolved salts. These values were achieved only by the best industrial membranes with very high costs and operating pressures of 10 - 15 bar, until recently.
2. Furthermore, the particular composition of the membrane structure allows more osmotic water to be withdrawn and waste to be reduced, while maintaining a very high quality of water. With normal membranes you can take from 15% to 20% of the water that enters the membrane while 80% - 85% goes into waste. HQ + membranes allow instead to recover 30% to 60% of the total water.

Post Osmosis Filter with NO3-PO4-SiO2 Removal A

To be used every time that there is an unusually high concentration of nitrate, phosphate and silica in the water supply that the osmotic membrane cannot totally retain.  
NO3 – PO4 – SiO2 Removal A: filter media especially made for the post reverse osmosis filter  - effectively retains nitrate, phosphate and silica.
