Inside the cylinder the gas is stored at 50 - 60 bar pressure; in these conditions to regulate a flow of few bubbles per minute would be difficult. In order to help us is the pressure reducer, a complex item/manufactured article which is the heart of the CO2 supply system. It allows easy and fast management of the entire system.
The pressure reducer piston working:
• It decreases the outlet pressure to 2-2,5 bar
• it regulates the capacity flow with the knob for fine setting, supplying the right CO2 quantity (per each aquarium)

• It opens and regulates the exit pressure with the central knob
• it regulates the capacity flow with the knob for fine setting, supplying the right CO2 quantity (per each aquarium)
• it allows the checking of pressure inside the bottle and the pressure of gas supplied with the pressure gauges

Central knob – it allows you to open and close the system without
changing the fine regulation already set . The plants, during the night,
do not perform photosynthesis and do not consume the CO2. If you
continue to introduce carbon dioxide, this one would add to
that produced by fish and plants respiration. Besides being a waste, it
could cause intoxication problems and pH changes. Only with our
pressure reducer, with the On-Off knob, the night stop can be easily
made and without changing the fine regulation set.
